What Halloween costume should I wear to my waitressing job that’s family friendly?
I work at a family friendly restaurant as a waitress. Tomorrow we can dress up in a Halloween costume on the conditions that it is family friendly/not slutty. All I have is a French Maid Costume which won’t work obviously. What should I wear? And most importantly what kind of shoes am I going to wear? Usually I wear slip resistant shoes to work because if you don’t you fall on your ass. What shoes am I going to wear and what kind of costume will be family friendly? Please help!
I would suggest keeping it casual and comfortable, since you’re going to be at work.
You could easily be a black cat by wearing black clothes, shoes and putting whiskers on your face and getting some cat ears to wear. This would be comfortable and fun and wouldn’t scare any kids. Oh and did I mention cheap? That’s always good!
It’s hard to suggest something without knowing what you like first. Use your imagination! The possibilities are endless.

Black or White
Now, I really don’t know if anybody at all who has not heard this song or don’t know this. It is one of my personal favorites (or else it wouldn’t be in this list right..duhh!!!) Anyways, the song features great music (including great guitar work by Slash of ex Guns N’ Roses) and a deep meaning to the lyrics. One of the best part of this song is that it has a song which can be interpreted in many different ways. Meaning, my interpretation of the song and lyrics may not be the same as yours. But what I can understand is that the song transcends all race, culture and color and calls for the world to unite as one. The musical arrangement is quite complex with the beats changing in many different parts to reflect the moods
Billie Jean
This is another of my firm favorite and I believe, for many of the late King of Pop’s fans. The music is groovy in a mysterious kind of way. It has been said that Billie Jean is not about any specific girl or individual in question. Rather, it is a song on the whole groupie scene as well as over-obsessive fans (it can be pretty scary I assure you). It is one of those songs that will stick in your head and get you humming for hours (I am humming to the tune as I write this hahahahhaha). And for those of you that will honor the King of Pop this Halloween by wearing Michael Jackson Halloween Costumes, pick a Michael Jackson Billie Jean Halloween Costume.
Thriller
Ohhh my..who can forget the great video that came together with this fantastic song? The song was huge in too many ways all over the world. I remember watching this as a kid and although I was too terrified, I still braved myself to watch it. The song was great and dancing…next to none. This will always be remembered as among Michael’s highlights which featured the perfect package of good song, good lyrics, good performance, good video…good..everything? This is another of my favorites. I grew up listening to this song when it was first released. I never grew out of it. It is hard not to love this song…it is catchy and features very poppy music. The song which has been recently covered by the group Fall Out Boy just shows how popular the song is. It is generally upbeat and funky but appeared to be aggressive in certain parts. If you wanna dress funky and fly, Michael Jackson Halloween Costumes – Beat It Costume is for you.
I’m Bad
This was among one of the 5 Number Singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Basically, this is a street song about the “bad” kids in the streets and who is the best among the bad. The song, needless to say is very addictive and goes down as one of the late Michael’s most successful.
